Saucy! by KFC — Now Open 5088 Airport-Pulling Road N. (Carillon Place) · Naples

Hard to miss — the exterior is hot pink. Saucy! by KFC opened March 24 at the former PDQ location in Carillon Place, just south of Pine Ridge Road, making it the brand's first Southwest Florida location. The focus is boneless chicken tenders paired with 12 globally inspired sauces including Korean Sweet Heat, Spicy Mango Chutney, Creole Honey Mustard, and Thai Sweet 'N Spicy. The brand promises chicken is never held more than 15 minutes. Also on the menu: bowls, burritos, salads, tacos, and their own dessert bites called Puffies.

Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet — Now Open Cameron Commons · Immokalee Road & Collier Blvd · Naples

All-you-can-eat sushi has arrived at Cameron Commons, taking over the former Sakura restaurant space. Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet opened March 20 and is already drawing sushi lovers from across Collier County. Lunch is $26.95 and dinner is $36.95.

Discover Strength — Opening April 6 Poinciana Plaza · 2160 Airport-Pulling Road · Naples

Naples is getting a fitness first — literally. Discover Strength opens April 6 at the newly constructed Poinciana Plaza and will be the first Discover Strength studio in the entire state of Florida, out of more than 35 locations nationwide. The concept is built around efficiency: personal trainers lead 30-minute strength workouts twice a week in one-on-one or small group sessions.

Bernwood Tavern & Cucina — Now Open 15215 Collier Blvd #324 · Pebblebrook Plaza · Naples

A cozy neighborhood Italian concept has landed in Pebblebrook Plaza on Collier Boulevard. Bernwood Tavern & Cucina blends neighborhood tavern warmth with Italian culinary tradition — think handcrafted pastas, classic Italian plates, and a full bar in a welcoming, unpretentious setting. The space was previously home to Shabo's Bistro.

Two New Casual Spots on Fifth Avenue South — Now Open Downtown Naples

Fifth Avenue South has two fresh additions on the more casual end of the dining spectrum. Barrio Taqueria launched February 18 at 539 Fifth Ave. S., serving Mexican street food including chicken-and-poblano empanadas, birria tacos, esquites street corn, and agua fresca. All Too Well Gourmet Sandwiches opened February 12 on the corner of Fifth Avenue South and Eighth Street South, offering 11 varieties of chef-crafted gourmet sandwiches. Both are counter-service concepts owned by seasoned Naples hospitality professionals.

Starbucks Drive-Thru — Coming Summer 2026 Poinciana Plaza · Airport-Pulling Road & Golden Gate Parkway · Naples

Interior build-out is expected to begin by late April with an anticipated opening in late June or July. The new drive-thru will anchor Poinciana Plaza at the southwest corner of Airport-Pulling Road and Golden Gate Parkway — a high-traffic intersection serving central Naples.

Rusty's Raw Bar & Grill — Upscale New Location Coming Soon Shoppes at Vanderbilt · 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road · North Naples

Naples seafood institution Rusty's Raw Bar & Grill is expanding — and going upscale. The new Vanderbilt Beach Road location will be a two-story restaurant with an indoor-outdoor bar and seating area on the second floor. The original casual Rusty's on Airport-Pulling and Immokalee roads — which started as Pelican Larry's Raw Bar & Grill in 2003 — will stay open. The new location is designed to take the brand in a more elevated direction.

Sprouts Farmers Market — Targeting May 15 Ridgeport Plaza · 5351 Airport-Pulling Road · North Naples

The natural and organic grocery chain is targeting a May 15 opening at Ridgeport Plaza on the northwest corner of Airport-Pulling and Pine Ridge roads. The new 24,491-square-foot store will share the former Bed Bath & Beyond space with a downsized Golf Galaxy. This will be Sprouts' second Collier County location, joining its existing store at Logan Landings on Logan Boulevard and Immokalee Road.

Genesis of Naples — Under Construction Pine Ridge Road & I-75 · North Naples

Construction officially broke ground March 23 on a new standalone Genesis luxury automobile dealership at Pine Ridge Road and I-75 — one of the most active development corridors in all of Southwest Florida right now.

LVL Fitness Pilates Studio & The Retreat Aesthetics Med-Spa — Leases Signed Poinciana Plaza · 2160 Airport-Pulling Road · Naples

Two more tenants have signed leases at Poinciana Plaza. LVL Fitness Pilates and The Retreat Aesthetics med-spa will join Discover Strength and Starbucks at the growing Airport-Pulling Road development. Opening timelines for both have not yet been announced.

Crazy King Burrito — Closed Shoppes at Vanderbilt · Suite 100 · North Naples

The burrito spot has closed its southwestern endcap unit at Shoppes at Vanderbilt, between Estia restaurant and True Fashionistas consignment. The space is now available.

Imperio Taqueria — Closed Shoppes at Vanderbilt · Suite 142 · North Naples

Imperio Taqueria vacated its nearly 1,700-square-foot space at the end of February, leaving another endcap available at this active North Naples retail center.

Shabo's Bistro — Closed 15215 Collier Blvd · Pebblebrook Plaza · Naples

Shabo's Bistro, which offered an international and Mediterranean-inspired menu, has closed. The space has already been taken by the newly opened Bernwood Tavern & Cucina.

The Pine Ridge Road and I-75 corridor is rapidly becoming one of the most active development intersections in all of Southwest Florida. Genesis of Naples breaking ground, Sprouts Farmers Market targeting a May opening at Ridgeport Plaza, and continued commercial leasing activity are transforming this stretch into a full-scale retail destination for North Naples.

Vanderbilt Beach Road at Airport-Pulling is equally active, with two brand-new retail buildings just completed next to CVS, Rusty's upscale concept coming to the southern endcap, and Cabaret Cabinetry taking the northern unit.
