
Vi at Bentley Village, a large, upscale continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in North Naples, has received approval from Collier County to proceed with its latest phase of a multi-million dollar redevelopment, reinforcing its status as a premier luxury senior living destination. This ongoing modernization effort is designed to meet the growing demands of the Baby Boomer generation, who are seeking larger, more amenity-rich living spaces.
The Scope of the Redevelopment
The long-term redevelopment of the 156-acre Bentley Village campus is a phased project that represents a total investment of approximately $300 million over the past decade. The newest and most substantial phase, which has been granted county approval, includes two main components:

Luxury Independent Living Apartments: This most recent phase involves the construction of 64 new independent living apartments housed in four new buildings. These units are designed to be significantly larger than previous residences, with five new floor plans ranging in size from approximately 2,400 to 4,500 square feet. The high-end amenities include:

Enhanced Healthcare and Wellness: Reflecting its role as a Life Plan Community, the expansion also heavily focused on upgrading its care facilities. The Bentley Care Center (Skilled Nursing Facility) and Assisted Living Residences have been revitalized and expanded.

The Skilled Nursing Facility now features 84 single-occupancy resident rooms with private baths, enhancing privacy.

The community added 84 one-bedroom assisted living apartments and 15 memory support apartments, significantly increasing capacity for residents needing care.

A 5,700-square-foot Center for Living Well was introduced, featuring state-of-the-art physical and occupational therapy equipment, private treatment rooms, and an outdoor therapy courtyard.

Attracting the Next Generation of Residents
The redevelopment is aimed squarely at the affluent Baby Boomer demographic, who often demand more space, full kitchens, and high-end finishes. Entrance fees for the new independent living units reflect this luxury market, starting at over $2 million and reaching up to $4 million.
The entire campus operates with a cruise-ship-like level of amenities, including an 18-hole par-3 golf course, walking trails, multiple clubhouses with full-service restaurants, fitness centers, and a variety of recreational courts.
Upon completion of the current sixth phase, Bentley Village will feature a total of 607 units, solidifying its position as one of North Naples' most expansive and luxurious senior living communities.
