This is it. Beautiful closes May 31 after one of the most acclaimed runs Gulfshore Playhouse has had in years. Gulfshore Playhouse is a premier professional theatre and education center in Naples — and this production of the Carole King musical has been exactly that. Reckless Saints close out Mercato's May Sounds on Strada series on Saturday the 30th. High-energy rock with a crowd that always shows up for the last Saturday of the month series. 🌀 Hurricane Season Starts

June 1 marks the official start of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season. NOAA's forecast calls for 13–19 named storms with a 60% chance of an above-normal season. NCH has AquaFence barriers installed. Naples Airport has its Tiger Dam system deployed. Collier County's evacuation zones are at colliercountyfl.gov.

If you haven't reviewed your flood insurance policy, checked your evacuation zone, or built your emergency kit yet — today is the day. A 30-day waiting period applies to new NFIP flood policies, which means June 1 is already too late for a storm that forms in the first week of the season.
